Our Player Pathway

We place the highest value on individual player development and are proud to offer numerous programming options to ensure the best environment for development.

Each program provides age-appropriate training to help players develop the technical confidence, game understanding, and physical training needed to grow and progress through each stage of development.

3-4 (2019-2020 Birth Years): Cap City Mini Kickers.  Introduction to the game.  Foster an excitement for playing the game of soccer.  Year-round programming available.

5-6 (2018-2019 Birth Years): Cap City Kickers.  Skill building and confidence building.  Introduction of 4v4 game play.  Year-round programming available.

7-8 (2016-2017 Birth Years): Cap City Juniors.  In House 5v5 development league.  Individual skill building curriculum.  Introduction to competitive team play.  Age groups are formed during our June evaluation period.  Players may join at any time throughout the year.

9-10 (2014-2015 Birth Years):  Introduction to Travel Team Competitive Play.  Games in Michigan youth leagues.

11-12 (2012-2013 Birth Years):  Statewide Competitive Team play.  Top teams will compete in MSYSA Director's Academy.  Lower teams will compete in Michigan youth leagues.

13-19 (2005-2011 Birth Years):  Midwest and Statewide Competitive Team play.  Top teams will compete in National League.  All other teams will play in the Michigan State Premier Soccer League.
